One Platform for Every Experience That Matters
NCKU PASS is an on-campus SaaS platform that helps students consolidate academic and extracurricular experiences for job and graduate school applications.
As the second-generation UI Designer on this project, I led the platform modernization by establishing a comprehensive design system and driving cross-functional collaboration. I partnered with UX Research to identify and prioritize high-impact features based on user needs.

USER'S POTENTIAL PAIN-POINTS
Students spend significant time gathering scattered experiences for applications
Students spend significant time gathering scattered experiences for applications
We found that when preparing for internships or jobs, students spend significant time gathering scattered information across university portals, emails, and personal notes. This fragmented process leads to overlooked
experiences and incomplete portfolios, preventing them from showcasing their full potential.

LEARNINGS
Validate Assumptions
with Research
Working with UX research revealed that assumptions often differ from real user needs. This experience reinforced my commitment to user-centered, data-driven design.

Prioritize Impact Under Constraints
Working under limited resources taught me that effective design requires strategic prioritization. I learned to balance user impact, technical feasibility, and timeline to deliver the most valuable solutions.

Design Through Collaboration
Collaborating with developers and marketing expanded how I approach design. It taught me to consider technical feasibility and product adoption, not just the interface itself.
